January 2021 Bullet Journal Setup

A new month means a new bullet journal spread! For this blog post I would like to share my January 2021 bullet journal spread. If you haven't already seen my 2021 bullet journal spread, click here

My cover page is very plain, I know. Let me remind you that I am not artistic at all. My bullet journal is definitely more on the minimalistic side.

Monthly spread - For this month's spread I like having the calendar blocks large enough so that I can write important dates for this month. And yes, I also like crossing off when each date comes to an end.

I have a separate page for my January goals. I think I was feeling a little artsy for this page so I went on Pinterest for the easiest thing I could draw.

Habit tracker - for this month's habit tracker spread, I drew out 31 boxes for the 31 days of this month and had each habit listed one after the other. I chose to do it this way because it's a lot easier at the end of the day to cross off each box, if I completed that habit during the day.

I also chose to keep track of my workouts this month by having a workout log. One of my goals this month is to workout 5-6 times a week so I wasn't exactly sure how many boxes I needed. I also wanted the blocks to be large enough so that I could list the workout for the day. I am currently following Chloe Ting's new 2021 Flat Stomach Challenge so that is what's currently on my workout log. I also have a legend to help me keep track of how I did. For this month I have yellow for a little sweaty, orange for moderate and red for very sweaty. I know, for January 7's workout, the colour I used is wrong but it is what it is.

Here is my weekly spread. I have the week laid out at the top of this spread so that I can input important dates or reminders. I have a separate box that I've titled "focus" for the week's important reminders or things I want to focus on. Below that, I have another box titled "next week" so that I can write down any upcoming events. I also like having a calendar in my weekly spreads and highlighting what week it is during the month. So under each day, I would write down my tasks for the day and then do it again for the next day.

My final page for the month is a monthly review. This is where I reflect on the month - the difficulties, the lessons, the success, the books I've read and my favourite songs of this month.

I hope my January setup provided you guys with some inspiration for your own spreads. Thank you for reading this blog post. I hope you all have a great month ☺

With love & light,

C
